Internships

Congressman John Kline is currently accepting applications for interns in his Burnsville, Minnesota, and Washington, D.C. offices for the 2012 Spring, Summer, and Fall Internship seasons. 

This unique internship program offers college students the opportunity to observe and participate in the federal legislative process. Responsibilities include assisting staff with constituent service, communications, legislative research, and providing administrative support.

The goal of this program is to provide interested students with the opportunity to both learn about and contribute to our system of government.

Applicants should be college or graduate students who possess excellent written and oral communication skills. A minimum time commitment of four weeks is suggested. Most importantly, applicants should be self-starters who display initiative and creativity.
