From the thriving suburbs and neighborhoods and Butler and Montgomery counties to the rich farmland of Darke, Mercer, Miami and Preble counties, the 8th District is one of the most dynamic in the State of Ohio. I am proud to serve my friends and neighbors.
This site highlights some of the issues I am working on in Congress to help create a smaller, more accountable federal government. As Speaker of the House, I am leading efforts to remove government barriers to private-sector job creation and economic growth, cut government spending, reform Congress, and rebuild the bonds of trust between the American people and their representatives in Washington.
