Student Leadership Institutes (SLIs) Print Share
My annual Student Leadership Institutes give outstanding New Mexico students an opportunity to discuss public policy issues that affect New Mexico and the country.
At the SLIs, school students are given the opportunity to attend three of six policy seminars led by my legislative staff from Washington, D.C. These seminars address many of the major issues we face in Congress, such as education, health, national security and economic development.
