  33. In 2010, President Obama said it was a good idea to extend all tax rates because it would be harmful to the economy to do otherwise.

    GDP growth for the first 3 quarters of 2010 was 2.4 percent. GDP growth for the first 3 quarters of 2012 is only 2 percent.

    If it was a good idea to extend all tax rates then, why is it a bad idea now?
