House Committee on Veterans' Affairs

As a former colleague and friend, I was saddened to learn of the death of former Representative John Adler.  John dedicated his life to public service and the citizens of New Jersey and our nation can be thankful of his efforts.

I had the opportunity of working with him closely as we fought for veterans in one of the most productive Congresses in our nation's history.  He will be greatly missed by all of us.  I know I speak for all of his former colleagues on the Committee on Veterans' Affairs that his wife Shelley and his four sons will be in our thoughts and prayers.
