Following the anthrax attacks, the Capitol Police began screening and irradiating every piece of mail before it is delivered to Congressional offices. The additional screening unfortunately results in delays in delivery of letters and packages. So that Rep. Engel can assist you as quickly as possible, it is encouraged that you contact him by phone, fax, or email, especially if it is time sensitive.
