Balanced Budget Amendment Caucus

Chairman: Rep. Mike Coffman (CO-06)

Is a bipartisan congressional caucus whose goal is to increase support for H.J. Res. 1, the Balanced Budget Amendment.  The Balanced Budget Amendment Caucus is dedicated to achieving passage of H.J. Res. 1, and to educating Members of Congress on the necessity and importance of adding a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution.

Congressional Aerospace Caucus

Chairmen: Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) & Rep. Jerry Costello (IL-12)

The Aerospace Caucus is the main congressional forum for aerospace issues including space issues and concerns. This caucus advocates and protects the interest of the aerospace industries and the jobs associated with those industries.

Congressional Prayer Caucus

The Congressional Prayer Caucus is a Caucus of the U.S. House of Representatives that acknowledges the importance of prayer in American life and history. The Prayer Caucus is a bipartisan group of 80 Members dedicated to protecting religious liberty and recognizing our nations’ rich, spiritual history.

Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus

The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) promotes, protects and advances the rights of hunters and anglers. CSF is the leader in providing access and voice for sportsmen with elected officials, land and wildlife management agencies, nongovernmental organizations and sportsmen allied industry groups across the nation.

Congressional Victim’s Rights Caucus

Chairmen: Rep Ted Poe (TX- 2) & Rep. Jim Costa (CA- 20)

Is a bipartisan congressional caucus who strive to be a voice for victims’ rights in Congress. The Victim’s Rights Caucus represents crime victims in the United States through the introduction of legislation that reflects the interests, rights, and needs of victims.

Immigration Reform Caucus

Chairman: Rep Brian P. Bilbray (CA-50)

The Immigration Reform Caucus (IRC) was established to review current immigration policy, to initiate new immigration policy and to create a forum in Congress to address both the positive and negative consequences of immigration.

Modeling and Simulation Caucus

Chairman: Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA- 4)

The Modeling and Simulation Caucus showcase promotes the Modeling and Simulation industry. The caucus pushes the Modeling &Simulation initiatives and will is a forum to understand the policy challenges facing this growing and versatile technology.

Motorsports Caucus

Chairmen: Rep. Bill Posey (FL-15) & Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-01)

The Congressional Motorsports Caucus serves as an informal, bipartisan group of Members dedicated to celebrating motorsports of all varieties and understanding their impact on Amercan culture and the economy.  Florida's 24th District is home to the Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR and the International Speedway Corporation.

Pro-Life Caucus

Chairmen: Rep. Joe Pitts (PA-16) & Rep. Dan Lipinski (IL-03)

The congressional Pro-Life caucus is a bi partisan organization of the House Members which provides information to Members of Congress on legislation and issues related to pro life concerns. This caucus understands that taking an innocent human life must be stopped and that all people must be guaranteed their full constitutional safeguards.

House Republican Israel Caucus

Chairman: Peter Roskam (IL06)

 

The Caucus helps educate members and staff on issues related to Israel.  The Caucus takes the lead to connect Members with policy experts who can assist in a better understanding of the complex issues and concerns facing Israel today.  The Caucus achieves this goal through briefings which seek an open dialogue.The Caucus seeks to provide a wide range of perspectives on issues facing Israel, often coordinating events with the Democratic Israel Working Group to offer bipartisan viewpoints.

Republican Study Committee

Chairman: Rep. Jim Jordan (OH-04)

The Republican Study Committee is a caucus of 175 House Republicans organized for the purpose of advancing the conservative social and economic agenda in the House of Representatives. The RSC stands for; less government, strong national defense, protection of the individual rights and the preservation of family values.

Synthetic Biology Caucus

Chairmen: Rep. Brian Bilbray (CA-50) & Rep. James Moran (VA-08)

 

The main purpose of the caucus is to help explore the promise of the rapidly developing field of synthetic biology. The caucus will serve as an information clearinghouse and educational forum for dialogue among members of Congress, other government officials, and stakeholders. The scientific promise of synthetic biology along with related ethical considerations is vital to public policy issues.

Tea Party Caucus

Chairman: Rep. Michele Bachman (MN-06)

The Tea Party Caucus in the House of Representatives was formed because Congress has strayed too far away from the fundamental principles of the Constitution and was not listening to the American people. The Tea Party Caucus was created as a forum for everyday Americans to express their views to the Members of Congress.
