In the 112th Congress, I serve on four Senate committees: Appropriations, Select Intelligence, Energy and Natural Resources and the Joint Economic Committee (JEC.)

On the JEC and Senate Appropriations Committee, I look forward to examining ways to strengthen the economy, reduce excessive government spending and restore fiscal responsibility. As a member of the Senate Energy Committee, I am committed to finding ways to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, develop American energy resources and prevent the passage of harmful regulations like “cap and trade.” On the Senate Intelligence Committee, I will work with our commander-in-chief and intelligence community to strengthen our national security and protect Americans from terrorist threats.
