Help With Federal Agencies:

Since assuming office in November, 2002, Senator Cornyn and his staff have helped resolve more than 39,000 constituent cases.  These cases have ranged from working with the Social Security Administration to secure benefits for Texas seniors, to working with the VA on behalf of Texas Veterans, to assisting Texans traveling abroad, to helping Texas military personnel and their families. If you need assistance with a Federal agency, click here

When Congress is in session, Senator Cornyn holds “Texas Tuesday Coffees” to personally meet with any Texans who are visiting Washington D.C. that week.  When he is not required to be in Washington for votes, Senator Cornyn travels extensively throughout  Texas meeting with thousands of his constituents each year. The Senate Intern program is a tradition that has been part of the United States Congress for many years. In the Senate, interns provide a valuable service that not only renders substantial assistance to Senators and staff, but often enables them to personally assist the citizens of their state in a variety of ways. As the son of a B-17 World War II Air Force pilot, Sen. Cornyn holds members of the United States Armed Forces in the highest esteem.
