- NYU is closed until further notice. Patients with scheduled appointments and service are advised to call 866-724-1830 to obtain the alternate location of their appointment. New appointments and patients should schedule after November 5th.
- Full evacuation of Bellevue is almost complete. Information about patients can be obtained by calling 311. They will be closed until further notice.
- CCUSA chapters in rural NY (which was largely unaffected) are coordinating efforts to unmet supply/volunteer needs requests.
- The NYS Department of Health (DOH) has announced that it is permissible for hospitals to provide dialysis to patients in the in-patient setting and discharge that patient post-dialysis, if medically appropriate. Please see below for the official notification permitting hospital to provide dialysis in the inpatient setting to end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients who cannot obtain their regularly scheduled dialysis treatment.
- In addition, should your constituents have questions, patients can call the ESRD Network’s Hotline number at 1-800-238-ESRD to receive assistance in finding an outpatient dialysis facility that can provide ongoing treatment.
