White House Greetings

Thank you for your interest in obtaining a presidential greeting from the White House. I am happy to request a White House Greeting in honor of your special occasion, accomplishment or milestone.

In order to successfully request a greeting from the President, please submit your request at least six weeks prior to the event date. Greetings will not be sent after the event date except for wedding and baby/adoption acknowledgments. Once accepted, greetings will be mailed from the White House approximately 10 days before the event.

Greetings are available for the following special occasions:

Birthdays

Individuals turning 80 years of age and older. Veterans turning 70 years of age and older.

Anniversaries

Couples celebrating their 50th and subsequent wedding anniversaries.

Weddings

Please request after wedding date.

Baby’s Birth

Please request after birth of baby.

Eagle Scout Award

Please indicate Court of Honor date.

Girl Scout Gold Award

Please indicate ceremony date.

Religious Milestone

Please specify occasion.

Condolences

Available to next of kin only.

Serious Illness

Please indicate adult or child.

Retirement

Individuals who have worked for 30+ years.

Graduation

Individuals graduating high school, college, or from advanced degree programs.

Adoption of Child

Please request after adoption of child.

Class Reunion

10 years and every five years thereafter.

Family Reunion

10 years and every five years thereafter.

Religious Institution Anniversary

25 years and every five years thereafter.

School Anniversary

100 years and every 25 years thereafter.
