    •  In the name of god the father I bear this prayer request, And in the name of Jesus Christ our lord and Savior I plead to you now the case of the widow. Years ago laws were broken for greed and profit and in what has been called the worst medical treatment disaster in our nation’s history. Thousands of hemophiliacs were swept away by being infused with HIV,& hepatitis B &C among other things by the medication they had no choice but to take. It was proven in court that the companies involved sold this medication knowing it was infected. For those who do not know hemophilia is a genetic disorder, it is not a bad choice that someone made and contracted. I feel that I need to say this as too many times there is a misconception of what hemophilia is. For more information see the documentaries Bad Blood, or Factor 8 the Arkansas prison scandal. As our government often does; they sheltered these companies from the liability of their actions trying to cover their own involvement in spreading this pandemic to half the earth. Congress Passed the Ricky Ray hemophilia act to compensate those with HIV since they had prevented them from suing the companies directly. In turn it allowed most of them to die with dignity knowing that their families would not be left wanting. However, the brother to this legislation called “the Bryant Brothers Bill” That was proposed after the U.S. government prevented them from collecting on the class action suit they won, has been forgotten. This bill was proposed to compensate those who contracted HBV & HCV but not HIV. By this bill not passing congress has denied thousands of people the medical treatment that could have potentially saved their lives as it is an extremely expensive chemo type treatment. This means that these unfortunate people had to endure a slow and painful death. Their widowed families deserve the dignity and support that was due them years ago. Every country that they had infected people in has compensated their victims; all but one, the United States of America. The powers that be have made it impossible for any news agency to run stories that raise awareness of this injustice. Our own government censors any agency that tries. It is now the time of year that many are thankful for all that they have, yet, many families mourn the loss of loved ones that were taken before their time, due to carelessness and no accountability. If you do one good deed this year, I implore that you please write your congressman and ask him to honor the foundation of our forefathers, which was the belief in God and all his glory. If we can give 50 billion to a country known to support terrorists we can spare a few million to bring Honor back to our godless nation. Limit it to only those who have died, even less. I plead to you the case of the widow. Has it fallen on deaf ears? In humiliation they were deprived of justice, their very lives stolen from their children. These are your Neighbors. Honor them, show the love. http://www.liversociety.org/html/bryant_brothers.html

  3. Looking for your input — with the Bush-era tax cuts expiring and automatic federal spending cuts due to take effect at the end of the year, independent economists have said the combination of both tax increases and automatic spending cuts found in sequestration would be incredibly harmful to our recovery. While Congress has begun negotiations to solve this problem and prevent us from going over the “fiscal cliff”, what do you think is the best path forward? Do you support extending the Bush era tax cuts for everyone making under $250,000? What, if any, federal programs do you think should be cut?
