The U.S. has the finest military in the world. Since taking office in the House of Representatives in 2002, I have been a steadfast supporter of our nation’s armed services in their fight to bring stability and freedom to Iraq and Afghanistan while waging the War on Terror.
Oklahoma has a long history of service to our nation. Our military installations – like McAlester’s Ammunitions Assembly plant, Tinker Air Force Bases’s construction and maintenance facility, Fort Sill’s vital artillery training school and Warrior Transition Unit, Vance and Altus’ flight training school, and our National Guard and Air National Guard headquarters – each provide a vital component to the defense of our nation.
I will always promote defense policies which ensure our troops have the best resources available as they continue to fight the War on Terror.
