As you may be aware, I am leaving office in the U.S. House of Representatives at the end of 2012. Due to the transition of my office to the newly elected Representative for the First Congressional District and the extended length of time required to process casework through government agencies, my office is unable to accept any new cases. I encourage you to visit the websites of Senator Inhofe and Senator Coburn to submit a new request for assistance with a federal agency. Passports
To obtain a passport, apply in person, at your local post office or courthouse several months prior to your planned departure date. The average time to get a passport is six to eight weeks, with the wait frequently much longer in the summer months.
