Caucus Memberships

Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) – is committed to promote and secure equal rights for not only Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI), but all Americans.  Additionally, CAPAC has served to educate other Members of Congress about the history, contributions and concerns of AAPIs.


Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) - aims to address national and international issues and the impact these policies have on the Hispanic community.  The Caucus is dedicated to voicing and advancing, through the legislative process, issues affecting Hispanics in the United States and Puerto Rico.


Democratic Caucus - works with every Democratic member of the House of Representatives to help achieve consensus, bring their ideas and work to the forefront and ensure members have the tools they need to implement their goals.  It is the only subgroup within the House of which every Democrat is a Member.


American Citizens Abroad Caucus - bipartisan group formed to address the concerns of several million US citizens living outside the United States.


Bi-Partisan Disabilities Caucus - The primary purpose of the Caucus is to inform, educate and raise awareness on issues affecting people with disabilities.


Community College Caucus - recognizes that community colleges play an important and distinctive role in the American education system.  The purpose of the CCC is to raise awareness about the unique role of community colleges within the American educational system.

Congressional Anti-Bullying Caucus - a bipartisan caucus committed to the belief that all communities deserve a safe environment to thrive, and that our nation is in urgent need of solutions that stop bullying – both offline and online – now and forever.

National Marine Sanctuary Caucus - a bipartisan coalition of Members dedicated to increasing awareness and strengthening commitment to our nation’s National Marine Sanctuaries.

Friends of New Zealand Congressional Caucus - a bipartisan working group that works to strengthen the economic, political, and social links between the United States and New Zealand.

International Conservation Caucus – founded with a commitment to helping the United States lead public and private international partnerships that provide stewardship of natural resources for habitat and bio-diversity protection, poverty reduction, economic development and regional security.

Congressional Military Family Caucus - recognizes that when a service member joins the military, it is not just a job; it is a family commitment to our country.  Caucus goal is to address issues such as education, childcare, healthcare, spouse employment, etc.

Congressional Wildlife Refuges Caucus – Bipartisan caucus works to raise awareness of our Refuge System, support adequate Refuge System budgets, and ensure the sustained growth of the Refuge System for future generations.

Congressional Travel and Tourism Caucus - recognizes the economic importance of travel and tourism within their communities and the vital need for a congressional advocacy organization to support this multi-faceted industry in Congress.

Congressional Victim's Rights Caucus - a bi-partisan caucus that advocates for crime victims and law enforcement officials.

Congressional Caucus on Central Asia - The Caucus plans to be engaged in solving issues that have influence on relations of the United States with Central Asia's states, particularly in providing security and economic development in the region.

Bi-Partisan Disabilities Caucus – serves as a groundbreaking forum for Members of Congress and their staff to discuss the many issues affecting people with disabilities.  The primary purpose of the Caucus is to inform, educate and raise awareness on issues affecting people with disabilities.

Coalition for Autism Research and Education (C.A.R.E.) – Congressional Membership Organization dedicated to autism advocacy on Capitol Hill.

Congressional Arts Caucus – A bipartisan organization for Members of Congress who support the arts through federal initiatives.

Congressional Career & Technical Education Caucus – to enhance awareness in Congress of the importance of career and technical education in preparing a well-educated and skilled workforce in America.

Congressional Children’s Caucus – seeks to build awareness around the issue of missing and exploited children for the purpose of finding children who are currently missing and to prevent future abductions. A voice that will produce and push legislation for quality education and health care, fight against child abuse, tackle juvenile crime, hunger and homelessness.

Congressional Children’s Health Care Caucus – advances legislative initiatives that provide access to health coverage, ensure preventative care, seek cures for debilitating diseases and chronic conditions, and promote healthy living habits for America’s children.

Congressional China Caucus - a bipartisan group of Members of Congress who share a common interest in the emergence of China as a political, economic and military actor on both the regional and global stage.

Congressional Correctional Officers Caucus

Congressional Diabetes Caucus – The mission of the caucus is to educate members of Congress and their staff about diabetes and to support legislative activities that would improve diabetes research, education and treatment.

Congressional Human Trafficking Caucus

Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus – works toward the extension of equal rights, the repeal of discriminatory laws, the elimination of hate-motivated violence, and the improved health and well being for all regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

Congressional Mental Health Caucus – Since 2003, the Congressional Mental Health Caucus has worked in a bipartisan manner to inform, educate, and advocate to Members of Congress and the public on a variety of mental health issues.

Congressional Out of Poverty Caucus – The COPC is committed to increasing awareness about and finding bi- partisan legislative solutions to eliminating poverty in the United States.

Congressional Pediatric Cancer Caucus – The mission of the bipartisan Pediatric Cancer Caucus is to serve as a clearinghouse for information on pediatric cancer and a forum to aid Members of Congress in working together to address pediatric cancer.

Congressional Rural Caucus – The CRC is a bipartisan coalition of Members of Congress committed to strengthening and revitalizing rural communities across America.

Congressional Task Force on Alzheimer's Disease – Bicameral Task Force with the mission of improving the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s through increased funding for research and increased support to Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers.

Congressional Nursing Caucus – The Caucus provides a non-partisan forum for the discussion of issues that impact the nursing profession, and helps members of Congress who care about these issues to come together to address them.

Congressional Service Caucus

Congressional Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics Education Caucus – The mission of the Caucus is to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in general. This includes issues in all areas of STEM education such as K-12, higher and graduate education, and workforce and industry-related issues.

Financial and Economic Literacy Caucus – The goal of the Caucus is to improve the financial literacy and economic education of all individuals across the United States during all stages of their lives.

House Army Caucus - serves as a vigilant and influential advocate for maintaining the readiness of our nation’s Army.

House Ports Opportunity, Renewal, Trade, and Security (PORTS) Caucus -  to promote the importance of our ports to the nation’s economy and the need to secure them.

House Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Caucus -  serves as an effective vehicle for disseminating information about renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.

Military Sexual Assault Prevention Caucus - provides a bipartisan forum for all Members of Congress to learn about the problem of sexual assaults in the miitary, work with the Department of Defense to shape policy, and create legislative solutions that improve Servicemember morale and welfare.

Military Veterans Caucus

National Marine Sanctuary Caucus – The caucus is dedicated to increasing awareness and strengthening commitment to America’s National Marine Sanctuaries. Though not all members of the caucus have districts that directly overlap sanctuary boundaries off their coasts, they all have come to recognize the value of sanctuaries to their states/territories and the nation.

National Guard and Reserve Components Caucus – formed to serve on behalf of National Guard and Reserve members as their voice in Congress on defense issues and to undertake the pursuit of common legislative and research objectives.

Religious Minorities in the Middle East Caucus

Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission – promote, defend and advocate internationally recognized human rights norms in a nonpartisan manner, both within and outside of Congress.
