The price of gasoline and energy has an enormous effect on the health of our economy. Rising costs are holding back job growth. This is why I’ve released a new memorandum stating my policy solutions.
There are things that government can do to reassure markets and move us toward energy independence. We have to increase efficiency, increase supply of fossil fuels and diversify our energy sources. American consumers, workers, and job seekers are looking for action. We’ve been working in the House this year, but there’s more that we can do.
