All tours are free of admission and tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please submit your tour requests by filling in your zip code below as soon as you know the dates you will be available for tours in Washington. During peak tour season, March through August, we recommend placing your request two or three months in advance.

Tours generally run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. When submitting your date availability, please indicate in the comments box specifically when you will be available. We will begin booking tours within the indicated range upon receipt of your request.

If you would like to tour the White House, you must submit security information before our office is able to place your request. The White House makes the final determination as to whether or not your group will be scheduled for a tour, and they often don’t inform our office until two or three weeks ahead of the requested tour dates as to whether or not the tour has been scheduled.
