Washington, DC – On Thursday April 26, 2012, representatives of the Bergen County Fire Chiefs met with Congressman Steve Rothman (NJ-9) in his Washington, DC office to thank him for his distinguished record in supporting New Jersey’s Firefighters. Specifically, they applauded Congressman Rothman for his strong advocacy for the FIRE and SAFER grants that were created by Congress to help address the significant staffing, equipment, training and health and safety needs of fire departments.
