(SPRING HILL, FL.) –  Following the announcement that Accuform Signs will be expanding their manufacturing operation in Hernando County, Rep. Rich Nugent (FL-05) issued the following statement:

“The announcement today from Accuform Signs that they are investing in our area and are creating 271 new manufacturing jobs is extremely welcome news – extremely welcome.  Central Florida has been hit hard by this recession – about as hard as anywhere in this country – and for hundreds of families in Hernando County, this is truly going to be life-changing.

“It is a real-world reminder that when companies feel confident about what the future holds, they will invest in this country – and that means jobs.  We need to be doing everything we can at the local, state, and federal level to give companies a reason to believe that their investment won’t be in vain.  We need to get them off the fence and building this country again.  That’s exactly what Accuform is doing and I couldn’t be prouder that they chose this area for that investment.”
