REP. NUGENT TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL HERNANDO COUNTY VETERANS RESOURCE FAIR

What: Rep. Rich Nugent’s Second Annual Hernando County Veterans Benefits Resource Fair. 

When: March 3rd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

Where: The event will be held at a NEW LOCATION in the school cafeteria at Challenger K8 School of Science and Mathematics, located at 13400 Elgin Blvd, Spring Hill, FL

Why:  Many veterans do not realize the full extent of benefits and resources that they have earned.  With over forty different organizations attending, this will be a wonderful opportunity for local veterans to get information about veterans claims services, education benefits, employment services, housing / social services, medical services, and a lot more. 

There will also be local entertainment on hand to welcome the veterans including the Hernando Harmonizers, the Chocachatti Dancers Theater and American Idol contestant Curtis Gray.  The national award-winning NAVY JROTC Drill Team from Central High School will also be there to conduct a Drill Team performance.  The LCPL Brian R. Buesing Young Marines will present the colors.  They will also be selling food and refreshments.  Finally, the Springstead High School Air Force JROTC will conduct a Rifle Team performance.
