Houston Area Heroes
Listed below are members of the military from our community who have given their lives defending our freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. Texans have a long tradition of answering when duty calls, and these brave men and women have continued that tradition with distinction. Each May we celebrate Memorial Day, but every day we enjoy the freedoms these individuals laid down their lives to protect. Our community mourns their loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends. We honor their sacrifice and courage.
