Information on 57th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies

Since 1901, the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) has been responsible for the planning and execution of the swearing-in ceremonies.  For the 57th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies in 2013, the JCCIC has launched their official website (http://inaugural.senate.gov) and the first ever Facebook page (www.facebook.com/JCCIC) for the public.  These will feature logistical information for those that are interested in attending the official events.

The JCCIC will distribute a limited number of tickets for the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony to each U.S. Senator and Member of Congress that was elected this November.  The number of tickets allotted to each office is not currently determined but they will be distributed to offices in January 2013.  Due to this supply constraint, only constituents of the 29th District may put their name on the ticket waiting list for Congressman Green’s office.  Other individuals interested in attending must contact their Senator or Representative.

A list of official and unofficial events surrounding the Inauguration can be found on the DemList calendar at http://demlist.com/
