Help With Federal Agencies

I am humbled and honored to serve the 1st Congressional District of Hawaii and am dedicated to assisting you with problems you may have with a federal government agency.  I understand that it can be intimidating and overwhelming to maneuver your way around the federal government. I want you to know that my staff and I are committed to helping you in any way that we can. If you cannot get an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, my office may be able to help resolve the problem or get you the information you need. Although we cannot influence the outcome of your case, we will do our best to inquire on your behalf and get a response to your problem.

While we are very happy to help you with an issue regarding a federal agency, unfortunately, by law, any matters relating to the courts fall outside our jurisdiction as do those involving the departments and agencies of the State of Hawaii and the City and County of Honolulu. You must first download and fill out a RELEASE AND AUTHORIZATION FORM so that my office can speak on your behalf regarding your case. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view this form, which you can download for free here. Once you download the form, please send the complete, original, and signed version to my Honolulu office for review. Providing as much detail as possible regarding your issue, including any relevant documents and the agency your problem pertains to, will help my staff better assist you.
