Congresswoman Hahn Disappointed in Disney Cruise Ship’s Departure From Los Angeles

SAN PEDRO—Today, Congresswoman Janice Hahn expressed her disappointment in the Walt Disney Co.’s recent announcement that they will be moving all four of its cruise ships to Florida during the first half of 2014.

“I’m extremely disappointed to see the news reports that the Disney cruise ship will be leaving the Port of Los Angeles,” said Congresswoman Hahn. “I always look forward to seeing the Disney Wonder in port and moving down our main channel, because I knew the business that ship meant for our community. That ship meant full hotels, bustling restaurants, and more customers in our shops, and I know the passengers and crew enjoyed their time in our community. I hope in the future Disney will reconsider and bring their cruise ship back to San Pedro.”
