REP. FRANK GUINTA STATEMENT ON DISASTER REQUEST FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE

(Washington – October 30, 2012)  The aftermath of Hurricane Sandy is still being felt across New Hampshire, an estimated 140,000 homes and businesses still remain without power statewide.  I fully support Governor Lynch’s request for a federal disaster declaration for all of New Hampshire’s counties.  Like many of you, I watched live newsfeeds last night of rising tides and significant flooding along the coast from Ocean City, MD to Atlantic City, NJ and incredibly enough, on the streets of New York City. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this storm and those first responders who are putting their lives on the line to help those during this time of need.
