Academy Nominations

As a Member of Congress, I have the great privilege of recommending a select group of individuals for admission to the United States Service Academies each year.

To be eligible for appointment, you must be an American citizen; at least 17 years of age, and not more than 23 years of age on July 1st of the year you will enter the academy; not married; and a legal resident of the Sixth Congressional District of Missouri.

If you are interested in attending one of our U.S. Service Academies, please contact my Liberty office at (816) 792-3976 during the spring of your junior year of high school to obtain an application and learn more about the selection process.  In addition to your application through my office, you must also apply to the service academy of your choice directly.  Contact your school counselor to begin the process.

The United States Coast Guard Academy does not require a Congressional nomination.
