FEMA’s Tips for Storm Preparation:
Prepare an emergency kit: www.ready.gov/hurricanes. Ready.gov is FEMA’s site for tips on creating your family emergency plan and building an emergency kit.
Create an emergency plan: Know what to do if you have to evacuate. Make sure you know how to contact members of your family and have an emergency contact number for someone out of state who knows where you are in the event of an emergency.
Be informed: Know evacuation routes and listen to local authorities when asked to evacuate.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of my offices.
