Made in America

President Obama pledged to create 1 million new manufacturing jobs by 2016 during his acceptance speech at 2012 Democratic National Convention.  

This pledge came despite his failed policies having already gutted 500,000 manufacturing jobs from our economy.

As such, I have released my “Made in America” Manufacturing Plan which is the result of my visits to 100 businesses in 100 days this summer.

As Congress returns to session, I return with this report as feedback from my meetings with local businesses to share with my colleagues.  Armed with this knowledge, I will continue to pursue pro-growth economic policies which encourage investment and promote job creation. 

“Made in America” stands for quality, value and ingenuity.  It is time we start expecting the same from our Federal Government.”
