The following resources will serve to expand your knowledge of the role of Congress. Transparency is the key factor in an open and successful government. My goal as your United States Congressman is to increase the level of clarity in Congress in order to keep our district up to date and well informed. Below you will find some ways to stay connected to what is going on in the House of Representatives.

Video Feeds from the House Floor
The U.S. House of Representatives offers streaming video feeds of the House Floor Proceedings dating back to the beginning of the 111th Congress.

House Leadership
The majority party members and the minority party members meet separately to select their leaders. This site provides additional information on Leadership.

Directory of United States Representatives
Voting Representatives is set by low to be no more than 435 proportionally representing the population of the 50 states. This directory offers information on all Members of Congress.

House Committees
The House’s committees consider bills and issues and oversee agencies, programs, and activities within their jurisdictions.

House Calendar
The House Calendar provides a schedule for the entire year for the House of Representatives. To goal of the calendar is to create certainty, increase efficiency and productivity in the legislation process, protect committee time, and afford Members the opportunity to gain valuable input from their constituents at home.

Current List of Votes for the 112th Congress
A complete list of roll call votes that take place within the House of Representatives under the direction of the Clerk of the House.

Financial Disclosure Reports
Financial Disclosure Reports include information about the source, type, amount, or value of the incomes of Members, officers, certain employees of the U.S. House of Representatives and related offices, and candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Foreign Travel Reports
Reports of certain expenditures for all official foreign travel by Members and staff of the U.S. House of Representatives are filed in accordance with the Mutual Security Act of 1954 and the International Security Assistance Act of 1978.

Gifts and Travel Filings
In accordance with House Rule 25 of the 112th Congress, Members, officers, and staff must file reports which detail travel-related expenses reimbursed by non-government sources and charitable contributions made in lieu of honoraria (a payment for services that do not have a set fee). These reports can be found on this site.
