Van Doren Sales Tour - Van Doren in East Wenatchee employs many people in the fruit packing and sorting industry, helping to create jobs and grow the economy.
Tri-Cities Regional Chamber of Commerce - I spoke with members of the Tri-Cities Regional Chamber of Commerce for their annual State of the District event. In my remarks I discussed ways to end the bailouts, stop the runaway spending, and how to help create jobs and grow the economy.
Goodwill Industries - Goodwill Industries is doing good work to help people find jobs and get back on their feet.
Quincy Intermodal Facility - I stopped in Quincy to learn more about their plans for an intermodal facility.
ACCOR Technologies Tour - While I was in Wenatchee I toured the ACCOR plant, where they manufacture high-pressure water valves. Another great example of a company creating jobs and helping to improve the economy.
YKM Aerosport - YKM Aerosport in Yakima is doing some neat work with airplanes. I visited their offices to see how they do conversions and modifications.
Heritage University - I stopped in to meet the new Heritage University President and tour their new facilities. They are really making strides with their operations in Toppenish.
Fruitsmart Processing Tour - I stopped by the Fruitsmart plant in Grandview to see how they are using new technology to process Central Washington's agriculture.
Central Washington Refrigeration Tour - I stopped by Central Washington Refrigeration in Yakima to learn more about their business and listen to their ideas about ways to improve the economy.
Tierra Vieda Students - Summer students from Tierra Vieda visited my Pasco Congressional office, where we talked about my job as their United States Congressman.
Pasco-Kennewick Rotary Club Meeting - I spoke with members of the Pasco-Kennewick Rotary about ways to help the Tri-Cities create jobs and improve the economy, as well as my efforts to increase access to Rattlesnake Mountain and clean up Hanford.
