Tour Request

My office can assist in setting up tours of the historic United States Capitol, and also the White House. More information about other tour opportunities in Washington may be found by clicking here.

We encourage you to request tours with as much advance notice as possible since spaces are limited. Tours of the U.S. Capitol are set up directly through my office, while White House tour availability is determined by the White House Visitors Office. Although my office does not directly oversee these tours, we may request spots on your behalf. Please allow for an advanced notice of at least 30 days when requesting a White House tour.

* White House tickets are extremely limited on a first-come, first-served basis, and the White House requires at least 6 months advance notice to be considered. On Sept. 4, 2009, President Obama announced that visitor access records to the White House will be released to the public 90-120 days after a visit. Your full name and the date of your tour will be part of the public record that is released. Your date of birth, Social Security number and all other private information will not be released.
