      I want you to understand how much the voters want to change the current tax structure. I firmly believe that returning to higher tax rates for those making $250,000 or more is absolutely necessary. And so must others, given the broad support President Obama received in the recent election. Lowering taxes on the wealthy has not benefited our nation’s economy. Although returning the tax burden to the way it was when George W. Bush took office would help, I’d really like to see it return to the way it was when Reagan was in office.
