The U.S. House of Representatives has passed legislation that will help get our economy back on track. To date, the House has passed 24 jobs bills but those bills have not been voted on in the Senate. Are you aware that the House had passed 24 jobs bills?

In 1996, Rep. Calvert authored legislation which created the E-Verify program which, for the almost 300,000 businesses that use the program, ensures that only individuals authorized to work in the U.S. are able to obtain a job. One of the legislative proposals Rep. Calvert is working on in Congress is to make E-Verify mandatory for all businesses in the United States. Rep. Calvert strongly believes that American jobs should go to American workers and legal residents. Do you agree that E-Verify should be made mandatory?
