Internship Opportunities

Our Scholar-Intern Program aims to expose students to the legislative and political process while affording the candidate experience working for a fast-paced Congressional committee at which Members of Congress testify. Interns are given the opportunity to participate in all lectures and seminars on Capitol Hill.

Duties include answering phones, filing, assisting senior staff, sorting through mail, and helping prepare for Committee hearings. This internship is with the majority staff of the Rules Committee.

Interested students should send a cover letter and resume to rulesintern.application@mail.house.gov.

Thank you for your interest.
