  6. Today, I visited the Charles County Children's Aid Society and delivered toys for their annual Christmas Connection, a wonderful program that provides children in need with Christmas toys and gifts. While I was there, I toured their warehouse and learned about the assistance they provide to families in need. Please consider donating clothing, toys, and other gifts this holiday season.

  8. Today’s jobs report showed the economy added 147,000 private sector jobs in November, causing the unemployment rate to drop to 7.7%. To solidify our economic recovery, Republicans must get serious about deficit reduction and job creation by making a good-faith effort to avert the fiscal cliff, extend middle class tax cuts, and allow votes on Make It In America job legislation. http://1.usa.gov/Uj007I

  17. Today, the GSA issued a Request for Interest for the new location of the FBI headquarters, which lays out certain requirements for the project and will help identify sites available in our region. With a significant portion of the federal workforce living in Maryland and ample land available near Metro stations, it’s clear Prince George’s County is the right choice for the new headquarters. http://1.usa.gov/Rx6Mfq
