I am pleased to offer all North Dakota constituents the opportunity to request a flag that has been flown over the United States Capitol. This is a great way to commemorate birthdays, Eagle Scout awards, retirements, and other special occasions.

To request a flag, please fill out the following form and send it to:

If you would like to have the flag flown on a specific date, please mail your request six weeks prior to the requested date. Flags will be received six to eight weeks after the date they are flown.

Each flag will be accompanied with a certificate signed by the Architect of the Capitol certifying the date that the flag was flown over the United States Capitol and listing the name of the person/persons or organization for whom the flag was purchased. Please provide the following information, as applicable, so that we can include the appropriate information on the flag certificate.

**Important**
Normal processing time for flags flown over the Capitol is 4 to 6 weeks. All prices listed are at cost, and no profit is incurred.
