    Kicking off the holiday season
    Our office is kicking off the holiday season today by displaying a gorgeous, 12-foot Fraser fir grown in Grayson County by Rodney and Cynthia Richardson. The Richardsons, who own Mt. Rogers Tree Farm, also are providing a Christmas tree to Governor Bob McDonnell and his family for the executive Mansion in Richmond.

    Crowdfunding a Startup: Danville & Blacksburg
    On Thursday, Senator Warner held the fifth and sixth in his series of ‘crowdfunding’ seminars for Virginia entrepreneurs and start up businesses. Today’s events, held in Danville and Blacksburg included panel discussions with a range of business leaders, including a representative from Kiva, the revolutionary online microfinancing platform, and the CEO of Blacksburg’s own Interactive Design & Development.
