Information for Constituents Affected By Situation in Egypt From Senator Webb

Senator Jim Webb provided the following information to Virginians who may be affected or may have family affected by the ongoing situation in Egypt: 

Information about the current situation in Egypt may be retrieved through the following U.S. Department of State websites: http://travel.state.gov or http://egypt.usembassy.gov/

Citizens with specific inquiries regarding Egypt may email the State Department at EgyptEmergencyUSC@state.gov or call 1-888-407-4747.

Virginia constituents who have family members in Egypt may also contact Senator Webb’s office for assistance at 1-866-507-1570.

The following information will be needed in order to register U.S. citizens with the State Department:  

1.    Name
2.    Age
3.    Place of birth
4.    U.S. passport number.  If passport number is unavailable, please provide the date of birth.
5.    Any special medical needs
