Flag Requests
Senator Kirk is happy to assist Illinois residents in purchasing flags flown over the U.S. Capitol for special events. You will receive, with your flag, a certificate to commemorate the event. The certificate may be personalized with a person's name, the occasion for which the flag is being flown, as well as a specific date. Please fill out the Flag Request form, which must be received at least one month in advance.
Senator Kirk is honored to provide a 3x5 Nylon flag that has been flown over the Capitol to Veterans and Boy Scouts attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. For Veterans, please submit the appropriate discharge papers. For Eagle Scouts, please submit an official letter from the Troop, including the Eagle Scout's name and address. In order to comply with Senate Ethic Rules, this request must be written on Troop letterhead.
