Application for Nomination to the United States Service Academies
As a member of a military family, Kelly takes great pride in the opportunity to nominate outstanding young men and women from the state of New Hampshire to the U.S. Service Academies. To be accepted to a service academy, a candidate must obtain a nomination from a U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative in the state in which he or she has a legal domicile. Because of the large number of applicants, interested students are strongly encouraged to pursue all available nominating options.
Candidates for nomination are evaluated on the basis of personal character, scholastic achievement, leadership qualities, physical aptitude, medical fitness, and motivation. All of these factors are part of the "whole person" evaluation used by each of the academies.
For consideration, please submit a completed electronic Application for Nomination to the address listed on the application. All completed applications must be received by October 31, 2012 at midnight.
