Sen. Franken Talking Ag Policy with Minnesota Farmers

I started August off right with another visit to Farmfest in Redwood County. The Farm Bureau's pork chops were juicy (as always) and the Farmers Union watermelons were perfectly ripe. I had a great time visiting with farmers from all over Minnesota to hear about how their crops were coming along and learning about all the progress agricultural businesses have been making in the past year. During the afternoon, I was able to take to the main stage and talk about the renewable fuel standard, bringing rural economic development to Minnesota, and the Senate's passage of the bipartisan Farm Bill.
