Detroit

My downtown Detroit office is ideally situated to assist residents of Detroit. If you live in Wayne County outside of the city, please visit my South Metro & South Central Michigan page. Whether to ask questions regarding a federal agency, discuss issues related to the region’s growth, or express an opinion regarding legislation pending in Congress, individuals and organizations are welcome at my office. The staff in my Detroit office are my personal representatives in the city and are here to serve you.

My team of constituent service representatives is located in my Detroit office and stands ready to help with issues related to the federal government. Michiganians seeking federal assistance can walk in and talk face-to-face with a member of my staff regarding their concerns.

Since my time on the Detroit City Council and throughout my Senate career, I have worked to preserve and enhance the city’s economic competitiveness, keep jobs in Michigan, and improve the city.

Due to construction, the public needs to use the entrance on Howard Street. Building security procedures require all visitors to submit to a security screening and present a valid ID or sign in with their name, date and destination.

My office recently sponsored "Federal Resources Face to Face," a workshop for nonprofit organizations.  Information presented in this workshop is available on the Grants page.
