Opportunity can knock in many different ways.  For young people, studying hard and pursuing a higher education offers one of the best paths to a successful future.  Along the way, students can seek out other opportunities to diversify their educational experience.

If you’re a high school student interested in learning more about the Senate, you can apply to be a Senate page.   If you want to serve our country by attending one of the military service academies, the Academy Nominations page provides information on the selection process.   If you’re interested in attending one of Michigan’s many excellent colleges and universities, you can find links to all of those institutions in one place.  The Financial Aid for Students page offers the latest information on federal loans, grants, and other options for paying for your college education.

If you’re a college student and want to gain valuable experience and learn about many aspects of working in a Senate office, consider applying to be an intern in my Washington office or one of my seven Michigan offices.
