Agency Assistance

Helping ensure that federal government agencies are responsive to Rhode Islanders' needs is one of my most important jobs as your United States Senator. My staff and I can often help you answer questions, find resources, or resolve problems. We are proud to work on your behalf. Grants

My staff and I are dedicated to helping you locate federal grant money. Throughout the state of Rhode Island businesses, non-profit organizations, and communities have benefitted from federal grants.

Flag Requests

My staff can help organizations and individuals purchase flags that have been flown over the United States Capitol Building for special occasions, such as retirements, birthdays and anniversaries. Flags are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Architect of the Capitol.

Visiting DC

As your representative in Washington, I'm happy to offer information to help you and your family plan visits to the nation's capital. Let us know if you'd like us to help you register for tours of the Capitol or other sites.

Student Resources

I am happy to offer internships in both my Providence and Washington, D.C. Senate offices. These internships are open to college-aged students, with preference given to Rhode Island residents. As a member of Congress, I have the privilege of nominating some of Rhode Island's finest young men and women for consideration to the United States Service Academies. The United States Service Academies have a long history of preparing cadets for leadership in our military branches through rigorous academic and physical curricula.
