Today in the Senate

December 11, 2012:

The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m.  Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business for one hour with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each with the Majority controlling the first half and the Republicans controlling the final half.

Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee (TAG) extension legislation with the time until 12:30 p.m. equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees.

The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

At 2:15 p.m., there will be a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S. 3637.  If cloture is invoked, the motion to proceed will be agreed to.
