The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare will present Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) more than 65,000 petitions signed by seniors throughout the nation asking leaders in Congress to keep Social Security and Medicare out of the deficit debate.

The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare is joining advocates across the nation in a Congressional Call-In day on Wednesday, December 5th.  Our goal is to flood Members of Congress with calls reminding them that Americans of all ages and political parties oppose cutting middle-class benefits to pay for deficit reduction.

Notice is hereby given to certain Medicare beneficiaries that a settlement on behalf of a nationwide class has been proposed in the "Improvement Standard" case filed in the United States District Court for the District of Vermont.
