Congressman Charles Bass

WASHINGTON – Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) issued the following statement today after Dartmouth President Jim Yong Kim was confirmed as the president of the World Bank.

Bass, a 1974 graduate of Dartmouth College, said:

"President Jim Yong Kim is a proven leader and humanitarian who will bring unique experience and expertise to his new role at the World Bank. Having had the opportunity to work with President Kim during his tenure at Dartmouth College, I know he will represent the United States with honor and distinction and will maintain the integrity of this global institution. He will be missed by the entire Dartmouth community and we wish him well in his new role."
