JAFFREY, NH – Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) announced today that he will be holding town hall meetings in Jaffrey and Nashua on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Bass will give an update about his activities in Washington and New Hampshire and take questions from constituents about pressing national and state issues at both town meetings.

The Jaffrey town hall meeting will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the downstairs meeting room at the Jaffrey Public Library, located at 38 Main Street.

The Nashua town hall meeting will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Nashua City Hall, located at 229 Main Street.

Constituents with questions, comments, or those in need of assistance with a federal agency are welcome to attend.

Bass said:

"As I continue my month-long jobs tour across the Second District, I have been meeting with business owners and employees, seniors, local officials, and constituents about how we can make it easier for the private sector to create jobs and grow the economy. These two town hall meetings will give me an opportunity to hear directly from constituents on these and other issues as I travel around the District this month. I encourage constituents to make some time on the 27th to come to Jaffrey or Nashua and share their thoughts with me."

So far this year, Bass has held town hall meetings in Salem, Jefferson, Hillsborough, Colebrook, and Milford and has plans to host more before the end of the year.

Constituents with questions should contact Bass' Concord Office at (603) 226-0064.
