WASHINGTON – Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) issued the following statement today after 31 soldiers were killed in Afghanistan, including 22 members of the Navy SEALs.

Bass said:

"This tragic loss reminds us of the sacrifice and commitment of the men and women in our armed forces who risk their lives every day for the cause of freedom. I join all Americans in mourning the loss of these selfless heroes and will keep these soldiers and their families in my thoughts and prayers."
