My staff and I respect the privacy of our visitors and all those who come in contact with my office, be it in person, through my website, or by mail, phone, fax, or email. We therefore try to collect only such personal information as is needed to provide the information, service, or assistance that you request.

We use a tool called "Google Analytics" to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site.

When you visit my website, we collect and store only the following information:

-- The name of the domain from which you access the Internet;
-- The date and time you access my site;
-- The Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to my site or the Internet address of the computer used to link to my site;
-- And the type of browser software and operating system you are using.

We use this information as aggregate data for site management purposes. These statistics allow us to assess the number of visitors to different sections of the site, what information is of the most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.

Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. The Google Analytics Terms of Use are available online at http://www.google.com/analytics/tos.html. The Google Privacy Policy is available online at http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.

Unless you provide us information, we do not collect or maintain personal information about you when you visit my site.

If you send an email message or complete a webform on my site containing personal information, we collect and store only the personal information you choose to provide, such as your name, address, email address, and phone number. Information collected in this manner is used solely for information and, in some cases, to respond to you. We will not disclose this information to third parties unless necessary (i.e., communicating with a federal agency on your behalf to handle a casework issue, after you complete a privacy form).
